this year was so good. i had so much fun. i made cool art, even though i put it off till the last minute. it was great. i love art. i think the best part was being prime minister of NAHS. but . due to recent events, i am no long a prime minister along with matthew. we got impeached. so . now we are presidents and prime ministers of SHIAT( Super Human Infantry Art Team) we will have meetings whenever NAHS does. so come to ours .there will always be free pizza and fun. I think what i learned most from this year was how to push myself a lot further. I was able to create lots of cool things. and i learned that i like drawing way more than i do painting, its definitely my strong point. I learned that i was able to take simple compostions and make them my own by the way i drew and created them. Miss Mcbride was a fantastic teacher as always. i cant' wait to do this again next year. It will also be fun having new AP students. SHOUT OUT to megan and ellen. thanks for hanging out with us every day, even though we just made fun of your(mostly ellen, we didn't make fun of megan all that much).
i will see you all next year loserssssssssssss. JFK ALL DAY

ARTISTSSSSSS
Portland Artist = Klutch!!!
klutch is a local graffiti artist who's work inspires mine. He works a lot with posters, which i am really into. Its cool being albe to walk around town and see his art up. It inspires me to go out and create art of my own.

check him out yo.
OTHER ARTIST= Kinsey!!!
kinsey works really well with lines detail. his work really makes me want to draw and start making things. He finds detail in people that you don't usually see. He also does poster graffiti, and just like klutch, in a wierd way he pushes me to make and put up my own art. hes tight.

February Critique
My concentration is characters inspired by the street, street art and the enviornment of the street. The first piece shown is a drawing that is wheatpasted to a painted lisence plate. I did this to show wheatepasting, without doing it on a wall. It is a drawing of a person, who has a somewhat "street style" to him, and I figured a lisence plate was pretty street like I guess, I'm not sure. The second one, is a graphic I made from a drawing of mine. I made the graphic on the computer, printed and wheat pasted it on a wall with lots of other "street style" art on it. I did it to show how much stronger a poster like that is than all the other art painted around it. Its a cool contrast. Its a fun concentration
